MEET THE Piano Teacher

Hey, I'm Jordane!

I’ve been teaching piano for over 20 years and began my musical training in France, where I studied classical piano, theory, and composition through the conservatoire system in Paris. I started playing at age 4 in a family of musicians, and while I trained rigorously and learned to sight-read fluently, I often felt blocked — unable to fully connect with the music or express what I felt inside.

That disconnect led me on a long journey across cultures and countries — teaching in Dubai, Mexico, Canada, and the U.S., performing in hotels and events, composing for dance, and learning from every student I met. Over time, I began unlearning rigid methods and developed my own teaching approach, centered on listening, emotional connection, and freedom at the keyboard.

After running a music school in California for several years, I sold it to focus on the students I know how to help best — the ones who are either struggling with focus, stuck in their technique, or tied to the page and craving freedom. I created the Ears & Keys program to support them, using kinesthetic tools, harmonic awareness, and ear-based techniques that make music feel intuitive and personal.

Whether you’re trying to overcome focus-related challenges, break through a plateau, or learn to improvise and compose, I help you build a real relationship with the instrument — one that starts from feeling, and flows from your fingers.

The Students I Teach Best

Focus & Finger Connection

Beyond the Notes

Play without a Score

Beginners to Advanced

For students with mild ADHD or focus challenges

The ideal fit for me are students with slight to moderate ADHD, or those who are struggling to focus. I have developed tools and exercises that help build that kinesthetic feeling in the fingers — which in turn reinforces the connection with the instrument and helps overcome the barrier of the fingers wanting to move faster than the brain, or vice versa
Disclaimer: While I’m not a therapist, my approach is based on years of experience helping students with ADHD tendencies thrive through hands-on, sensory-based learning. Also important: The student must already want to play piano — motivation has to come from them, not just from the parent.

Intermediate to Advanced

Improvise, play by ear, or compose

I also help students who can’t play without a score in front of them, and who want to improvise, play by ear, or compose a song. I guide them in structuring the sounds we hear in our mind, using vertical and horizontal sound structure — naming what we hear (harmonies, chords, notes, progressions, etc.) and associating those sounds with a physical feeling, as well as with specific piano chords or techniques.
So when they want to create something, they can do the reverse: start from a feeling, and let their fingers play the notes, chords, or techniques that express that feeling.

Intermediate to Advanced

For students who can sort of read but feel stuck

Another ideal student that I know how to help is the one who already knows how to read and play, but is plafonning in their technique. I can help them by understanding and feeling the harmonies and the song’s composition, and how the technique helps achieve that feeling. I also help them spot which techniques to use just by looking at a score. Once this understanding is in place, it often removes the physical barrier of our fingers, dexterity while improving the sight-reading greatly.

MEET THE Guitar Teacher

Hey, I'm Curtis!

I’ve been teaching guitar for over 20 years and have a degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood. I started guitar at the late age of 23 because I wanted to express my feelings. At first, I struggled with hand-eye coordination, learning scales, memorizing the fretboard, and barre chords.

It was tough, and after many years of lessons, I finally understood what really helped me. I wish someone had explained to me what I know now, which is a simplified way of learning and understanding the “why” and “how.” I learned the complicated way when it could have been so much simpler.

Now, I want to help people like me who appreciate simplicity and want to truly express themselves. I created the Electric Tone Mastery program to help guitarists break free from the same old patterns and learn to solo with confidence. I guide players to connect their ear to the fretboard and express themselves effortlessly, without overthinking.

Whether it's rock, blues, or any genre, I help players unlock their full potential and play with soul.
